Since his first appearance in 1931, Christ gave Saint Faustina various revelations about his Divine Mercy, which were recorded by the Polish nun in a diary of more than 600 pages.
Below are the revelations that can be found in different parts of the six notebooks of private revelations to Saint Faustina Kowalska. All the notebooks were compiled into a single journal containing 1828 numerals.
1. The Feast of Mercy will be a refuge for all souls
“I want the Feast of Mercy to be a refuge for all souls and especially for poor sinners. On that day the depths of my Mercy open up. I pour out a whole ocean of graces on those souls who approach the source of My Mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion will obtain full forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine floodgates through which grace flows open. Let no one fear to approach Me, even if their sins are like scarlet.” (Diary, 699)
2. There will be no peace except through the Mercy of God
“Humanity will have no peace until it turns with confidence to My Mercy.” (Daily, 300)
3. When the world recognizes Mercy, God will be a sign of the end times
“May all humanity recognize My unfathomable Mercy. It is a sign for the end times. Then the day of justice will come.” (Diary, 848)
4. God’s justice is imminent when His Mercy is rejected
“He who refuses to go through the door of my Mercy must go through the door of my justice…” (Diary 1146)
5. The Feast of Mercy may be the last chance for many to be saved
“Souls die despite My bitter Passion. I offer you the last table of salvation, that is, the Feast of My Mercy. If you do not adore My Mercy, you will die forever”. (Diary, 965)
6. The Feast of Mercy will be celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter
“These rays protect souls from the wrath of My Father. Blessed is he who will dwell in his shelter, for the just hand of God will not take him. I want the first Sunday after Easter to be the Feast of Mercy.” (Daily, 299)
7. The most sinful have a greater right to God’s Mercy
“The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to my Mercy. My Mercy is confirmed in every work of My hands. He who trusts in my Mercy will not perish, because all his affairs are mine and his enemies will be destroyed at the base of my footstool ”. (Diary 723)
8. God offers complete forgiveness to those who confess and receive Communion on the Feast of Mercy
“I want to grant full pardon to the souls who will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of My Mercy.” (Diary, 1109)
9. The Mercy of God must be adored and the image venerated
“I demand the adoration of My Mercy through the solemn celebration of the Feast and the veneration of the image that is painted. Through this image I will grant many thanks to souls. It is to be a reminder of the demands of My Mercy, for even the strongest faith is useless without works.” (Diary, 742)
10. The image of Divine Mercy is a source of numerous graces
“Tell all people, My child, that I am Love and Mercy. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill her with such an abundance of graces that she cannot contain them within herself, but radiates them to other souls.” (Diary, 1074)
11. By venerating the image you receive God’s protection in life and especially in death
“I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I also promise victory over your enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I will defend it as My own glory.” (Diary, 48)
12. Those who propagate this devotion will be protected all their lives by God
“To the souls that propagate the devotion to My Mercy, I protect them throughout their lives as an affectionate mother (protects) her newborn child and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them but a merciful Savior. In that last hour, a soul has nothing to defend itself with except my Mercy. Happy is the soul that during her life plunged into the Fountain of Mercy, because justice will not have it ”. (Diary, 1075)
